This Service continued its sensitization campaign with a view to enlist the support of youths and the population in general in the daunting challenge to conserve, protect and propagate the rare endemic/indigenous fauna and flora. 

Officers of this Service gave talks on forest conservation, biodiversity conservation, and causes/effects of climate change, supported by power-point presentations, in various schools around the island.

Monitoring of endemic gardens was carried out in (9) nine academic institutions. Moreover, awareness-raising programmes continued to be effected at the various Nature Walks.
